Hong Kong 2017 was Stefan’s first time riding as an Elite rider at Track Cycling World Championships. Day 1 and Stefan, along with Sprint Teammates Patrice and Hugo, were getting set up at the start line and timbeeeer, Stefan went over.

Stefan took it all in good stride and posted the following on his instagram:

Day 5, the final day, Rob Jones from Canadian Cyclist interviewed Stefan  after his Kilo ride of 1:01.766 where he placed 13th our of 27 riders. And if we go backwards three years, here is an 2014 interview Rob Jones posted of Stefan at the Canadian U17 Nationals, where he first experienced a win as a sprinter.
